"Where you don't have to have a horse to participate!"

The Ranch Riders meet every Sunday at the middle arena between 9:30 am and 10:00 am. For those of you interested in joining us - get in the loop at: .
In the meantime, we'd like to remind all residents of some easy ways to be considerate of horses in the neighborhood and hope you will share it with your entire family.
When on the street:
- Keep an eye out for the Horse Crossing Signs
- Treat equestrians as you would a parent crossing with their child--with caution!
- Make sure you see each other before proceeding.
When on the trail:
- Say hello for horse and rider to hear; this can help avoid the horse being startled by seeing a person "suddenly appear" before him.
- Slow down & stop to let the horse move past you.
- Do not feed horses without prior permission of the owners.
- Keep dogs ON their leash.
When at the Parks:
- Keep dogs ON their leash
- Don't let children run up to horses - it's dangerous for all involved
Contact us if you'd like to expose your dog(s) to horses in a safe environment - we'd love to help! (Many riders are unable to enjoy the trails because of dogs "hunting" horses from behind their fences.)
Don't see a club that is right for you? Start a new one! Just send your idea to the office and we will announce it on the website to help you get it rolling! |
